What information do we collect?
We will collect the following non-public personal information about borrowers from a variety of sources and may disclose the information we collect to our affiliated companies.
- We collect information from you when you register on our site, respond to a survey, or fill out a form.
- When registering on our site, as appropriate, you may be asked to enter your: name, email address, mailing address or social security number. You may, however, visit our site anonymously.
- From loan applications, we obtain information such as name, address, social security number and income.
- From consumer reporting agencies, we obtain information such as borrowers’ credit worthiness and credit history.
- From verification of information borrowers provide on MFM loan applications, we obtain information from current and past employers, other financial institutions and other sources.
These disclosures typically include information to process a mortgage loan on borrowers’ behalf, conduct the operations of MFM, follow the instructions that borrowers authorize, and to protect the security of borrowers’ financial records.
What do we use your information for?

How do we protect your information?
We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information when you enter, submit, or access your personal information.
We offer the use of a secure server. All supplied sensitive/credit information is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and then encrypted into our Database to be only accessed by those authorized with special access rights to our systems and are required to keep the information confidential.
We restrict access to borrowers’ personal information to only those employees who have a specific business purpose in utilizing their data. Our employees are trained in the importance of maintaining confidentiality and borrower privacy. We maintain stringent physical, electronic and procedural safeguards that comply with federal regulations to safeguard your members’ non-public personal information.
After a transaction, your private information (credit cards, bank account numbers, financials, etc.) will be kept on file for more than 60 days in order to process recurring payments or to quickly schedule new payments.
Do we use cookies?
Yes. (Cookies are small files that a site or its service provider transfers to your computer’s hard drive through your web browser–if you allow–that enables the sites or service providers systems to recognize your browser and capture and remember certain information.). Cookies are used as part of the login process.
Do we disclose any information to outside parties?
Member First Mortgage will provide borrowers with competitive products and services that best meet their mortgage loan needs, and that commitment involves the sharing of necessary information with our affiliated third-party financial service providers (i.e., FHA, Fannie, Freddie). Also, in order to assist borrowers in meeting their mortgage loan needs, we have entered into agreements with other companies that provide either services to us (i.e., title agencies) or additional financial products for consideration. Under these agreements, we may disclose the information we collect, as described above, to other companies that perform marketing or other services on our behalf or to other financial institutions with whom we have joint marketing agreements.
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information. This does not include trusted third parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business, or servicing you, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential. We may also release your information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect ours or others’ rights, property, or safety. However, non-personally identifiable visitor information may be provided to other parties for marketing, advertising, or other uses.
SMS Consent (or phone numbers) are not shared for the purpose of SMS with third parties or affiliates.
California Online Privacy Protection Act Compliance

As part of the California Online Privacy Protection Act, all users of our site are linked to their MFM accounts through a third-party website (Servicing Digital) and may make any changes to their information at any time by logging into their Servicing Digital account. Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act Compliance
